If you’re coming to the Talek area, we work well as a safari resort near Talek: central to the ecosystem, quiet enough to sleep and small enough to get you out first. We’re not a large resort, and that’s the point.

Location Matters Most From July to October
The Great Wildebeest Migration passes through the northern game circuits closest to us between July and October. Here’s why our position helps:
- Herds arrive from mid-July. The Mara River crossings peak between early August and mid-September.
- Crossings happen fast. They can start suddenly and be over quickly, so minutes matter.
- Guides stay in radio contact. Our local guides talk with other guides across the ecosystem, so we start moving as soon as a crossing is building.
- There’s no wrong-gate problem. Camps on the far side of the reserve face long drives to reach the main crossing points. We don’t.
Book Early for Peak Weeks
July to September is our busiest season. Riverfront-adjacent camps like ours typically fill 6 to 12 months ahead for August dates. If the migration is your priority, plan early.
