Masai Mara Honeymoon Safari Package — 4 Days at Mara Siligi Camp (2026)
Candlelit dinners in the bush. Lions calling at midnight. Dawn breaking over the savannah from your private deck — just the two of you.
Our 4-day masai mara honeymoon Travel package is designed for couples who want more than a beautiful setting — they want a stay that feels genuinely private, unhurried, and personal. At Mara Siligi Camp, we are a safari camp in masai mara with 10 tents and a team that notices details. Your tent is prepared before you arrive. Your bush dinner is set up while you are on your evening drive. Your guide learns what matters to you on day one and builds the rest of the drives around it.
We are 10 minutes from Mpuaai Gate and 15 minutes from Talek Gate — ensuring this Masai Mara travel package gets you to the wildlife faster, and the mornings start earlier on the plains than at camps further out. The Mara has one of the most romantic landscapes on earth. We just make sure you get to experience it properly.

What We Do to Make It Feel Like a Honeymoon
There is a difference between a safari that happens to be romantic and a safari designed for two. Here is what we do specifically at Mara Siligi for honeymoon and anniversary guests:
Arrival Welcome: Fresh juice and a floral setup waiting in your tent when you arrive.
Bush Dinner: A lantern-lit table in the wild, included in every honeymoon stay. You return from your evening drive to candlelight and the sounds of the Mara.
Private 4×4 Vehicle: Your game drives are yours alone. No shared vehicles with strangers; just you, your guide, and your pace.
Flexible Schedule: We have no rigid daily programme. If you prefer a slow breakfast on your deck and a late start, we adjust.
Stargazing Session: With zero light pollution, your guide will walk you through the night sky and the visible Milky Way after dinner.

Just you, the plains, and freshly made food. | Camp lunch — 12:30–2:30pm Fresh salads, main course, fruits. Or a packed picnic lunch for full-day drives. Request the picnic the evening before and we pack it inside the vehicle for the reserve. | Bush dinner A lantern-lit table outside camp, set while you are on your evening drive. Included in your stay — no extra cost. Our most talked-about experience and the one guests remember longest. |
From the kitchen: freshly baked bread, soups, salads, pizzas, biryanis, roasted lamb, chicken, chocolate cake. All dietary requirements catered — vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, lactose intolerant, allergies. Tea and coffee at 5:30am before your morning drive and at 3:00pm when you return.

Make It Even More Special — Optional Add-Ons
Hot air balloon Experience a sunrise flight over the Mara River and the vast plains. This experience includes a breakfast in the bush upon landing and is widely considered the most memorable morning a honeymoon safari can offer. We recommend booking in advance, as availability during the migration season fills fast.
Masai cultural village Visit a nearby boma to meet Masai families and witness the traditional adamu jumping dance. These visits are arranged directly from camp and are typically paired with an afternoon game drive for a unique cultural perspective of the landscape.
Sundowner drinks Enjoy beer, wine, spirits, or soft drinks served in the heart of the bush at golden hour. Light snacks (bitings) are included. The sundowner is often described as the Mara’s most cinematic moment and is a perfect way to transition from a day of wildlife viewing to a quiet evening.
Safari massage Relax after a long day in the field with a professional massage at camp. This is an ideal addition to a relaxed afternoon.
Safari and beach extension Extend your journey by combining your Mara stay with the white sands of Diani Beach or Mombasa. We can arrange the necessary Nairobi transfers to the coast, providing a seamless transition from a bush adventure to a beach honeymoon. Ask us for a combined itinerary quote when you enquire.
When Is the Best Time for a Masai Mara Honeymoon?
The Masai Mara is beautiful year-round — which means any month can be the right month. But here is what each season offers for a honeymoon:
June – October · Great Migration Peak season — most dramatic wildlife, river crossings, maximum herd presence. Also the most expensive and busiest. If you want the wildest backdrop for your honeymoon, this is it. | December – February · Warm and clear Excellent weather, clear skies, good wildlife viewing. Fewer vehicles than migration peak. January–February is calving season — dramatic predator action. Great value relative to July–October. | March – May · Green season Lush green landscape, the Mara at its most cinematic. Fewer crowds, lower rates, intimate atmosphere. Some rain — but the light for photography is exceptional. Ideal if privacy matters most. |
For 2026 bookings: July and August migration dates are moving now. If the wildebeest crossing is important to your honeymoon, contact us immediately.
