A safari camp in Masai Mara that is genuinely set up for families — electric-fenced, Masai-guided, and 10 minutes from the wildlife.
family-holiday-package-masai-mara

At Mara Siligi Camp, we have hosted hundreds of families — first-time safari travellers, parents introducing children to the wild for the first time, and multigenerational groups celebrating something big. Our 6-day masai mara holiday package gives your family the full Mara experience: flexible drive schedules, spacious family tents with ensuite bathrooms, all meals, Masai cultural village visit, and guides who genuinely love sharing the bush with younger guests.

We are 10 minutes from Mpuaai Gate and 15 minutes from Talek Gate. That means your family spends more time watching wildlife and less time driving to it — which matters a great deal when you are travelling with children.

Why This Family Safari Works — Specifically

Flexible drives — no rigid group schedule

In a 10-tent camp, we adapt to your family’s rhythm. Late risers? We adjust. Tired kids on day 3? We shorten the afternoon and add an evening bonfire session instead. No 40-guest group schedule to follow.

Guides who are patient with children

Our local Masai guides have led hundreds of family safaris. They know when to slow down, what to point out for younger guests, and how to make a game drive educational without making it feel like school.

Electric-fenced camp with night patrol

Mara Siligi Camp is fully electric-fenced. A Masai guard patrols the perimeter at night and escorts guests from tents to the lounge after dark. First aid available on site.

Spacious family tents — not cramped

Our five family tents (Nyati, Kifaru, Chui, Tembo, Kiboko) are genuinely large. Flexible bed configurations from queen + 2 singles to 4 single beds. Private decks, ensuite bathrooms, and enough floor space for luggage, gear, and a comfortable evening.

All meals included — children’s menus available

Our kitchen caters for all dietary requirements including children’s portion sizes and preferences. Freshly baked bread, pizzas, soups, biryanis — and a chocolate cake that has converted more than one picky eater. Tell us dietary needs when you book.

Nairobi pick-up and drop-off included

Road transfer both ways is included in the package — pick-up from your Nairobi hotel at 8:00am on Day 1, drop-off in Nairobi by early afternoon on Day 6. No need to arrange separate transport.

The Mara is extraordinary with children. Watching a child’s face when they see their first elephant — or hear lions calling at 3am from inside their tent — is something parents tell us about years later. We have seen it hundreds of times. It does not get old.
